Flourishing with fruit, herb and vegetables gardens, the Earth Basket is the newest “sprout” at The Residence Bintan, the resort’s very own organic farm boasting over thirty different types of herbs and vegetables. For the Earth Basket’s restaurant, ceramic workshop, and yoga shala, the design concept was Organic and Sustainable. In the pottery workshop, you can feel a rustic atmosphere in the choice of cement finishing for the floor and textured paint for the walls. The furniture uses recycled wood with a natural finish. Hanging lights are covered with natural rattan. The atmosphere of the restaurant is more modern, but the selection of furniture finishing, walls and floors still uses a rustic scheme. The yoga shala is a semi-open building with wooden flooring, exposed rattan roof, and a panoramic view of the surrounding farm.
